Saturday 8:00 p.m. – The Great Vigil of Easter begins in the darkness as we listen by candlelight to readings recounting the story of God’s gradual working out of salvation for humankind. Then a great noise heralds the Day of  Resurrection and the first Eucharistic Service of Easter is celebrated with the joyful songs of God’s new spring.
