Liturgy of the Palms and Eucharist

Sunday 8:30 and 11:00 a.m. – Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week, the most profoundly sacred time in the Christian Calendar. God enters into human suffering, raising it to the level of the divine, giving it the potential to be transformed into the makings of Love. We celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, with palm branches distributed to members of the congregation, but this is immediately undone by the story of his crucifixion and death. The mystery of Holy Week begins.

social hour with coffee/tea and refreshments to follow.
